Studio Policies and Rules
In event you are unable to reach me in case of accident or injury, I give my permission for treatment as deemed necessary by staff or emergency personnel. I also release North Las Vegas Ballet Theater and its staff of liability in case of injury, death, or accident.
North Las Vegas Ballet Theater reserves the rights to use photos and videos from dance classes or performances for advertising and marketing.
Studio Information and Policies I have read all studio information including monthly fees, insurance, bad weather/holiday policy, attendance, class observation and practice wear. I fully understand and agree to abide by these policies.
Tuition is due on the 1st of each month. There is a $10 late fee for tuition received after the 5th of each month. Tuition is paid monthly and not by the lesson. Tuition remains the same, regardless of holidays, vacation, and/or illness, year round September-August. If a child must drop out due to medical and/or other reasons, such as vacations or school activities, tuition must continue to be paid to hold the child's spot in class. 30 day written notice must be given in order for a child to drop a class without continued financial obligation. Drop forms may be picked up at the front desk. Paid Tuition is non-refundable regardless of attendance. Tuition payments are due via recurring auto draft monthly.
Refund and Withdrawal Policy
Tuition and registration fees are non-refundable. To withdraw from a class, you must do so with 30 days notice. All withdrawals must be in writing via our withdrawal form. Tuition will remain due for each month until student has been withdrawn. There is a additional $60 fee for accounts that do not withdraw according to our withdraw policy.
Dancers are expected to be prepared, dress appropriately, and be on time for class for the duration of their enrollment. In order to remain in the level of the class, dancers should maintain good attendance.
There is no refund or credit for missed classes for any reason including illness and/or injury. Make-up classes are allowed and must be made up during the current dance season. Please contact your studio to schedule your make-up class.
Registration fee is an annual administration fee which is non-refundable. The registration fee is $30 per student or $50 per family for 3 or more family members who reside in the same house who register for classes.
North Las Vegas Ballet Theater does not carry medical insurance for its students. It is required that all students be covered by their own family insurance policy and if injury occurs it is understood that the student's own policy is your only source of reimbursement.
Bad Weather/Holiday Closures
North Las Vegas ballet Theater will follow the Clark County Public School calendar for holiday closures and closures related to bad weather.
Costume fees are non-refundable. Costume/Recital fees are due by November 1, 2016. Fee schedules are available at the Front Desk by October. Recitals are MANDATORY for all students registered in the Pre-primary, Primary and Pre-professional levels.
Each Pre-Primary, Primary and Pre-Professional level class have a uniform dress code. Students must wear the assigned uniform to classes and rehearsals. Uniforms may be purchased from the studio as a package.
Hair must be worn in classical ballet bun for all classes/rehearsals. Those with short hair that cannot be placed in a bun must wear hair pinned back off face. No jewelry is allowed during classes/rehearsals, with the exception of small stud earrings.
1. No student should be in the studio unless enrolled in that particular class.
2. Students should be dressed and prepared for class before it starts.
3. No street shoes should be worn in dance studio.
4. No food or drinks of any kind are allowed in the dance studios.
5. Parents should not leave young students unattended in the waiting area before or after class.
6. Chewing gum is never allowed in the dance studios.
7. Always treat your teacher and fellow classmates with respect.
8. No swinging on the ballet barres or damaging studio property.
9. We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.
10. A credit/debit card on file is mandatory.
